If the hours I've spent on social media be put together, I'd have probably spent more than a cheap couple of years. Like many others, the social media platforms appeared like good media to speak your mind on daily issues and events. Owning multiple accounts on various platforms was always fun and time just wouldn't stop on social media platforms, the daily innovations and varying opinions kept it ticking.

Then came the Steemit platform. To me, it came at a time I had about had enough of wasted time on reading wishy-washy content from individuals who were less concerned about quality of posts but, just wanted to get something off their chests. Given, there was good content too but, it came in mixed packs with thrashed up ones.

Content plagiarism was common hence, redundant content was commonplace too. If you intended to be original, the last place to let out content should have been the social media world of the past.

For two (2) years now, Steemit has redefined the concept of social media. Not only is it a social media platform, it actually compensates content providers for relevant content. And if you entertained fear of plagiarism, you can rest assured the cheaterbot has it in check. Developing love for the platform has the ability to improve writing in individuals.

Built with latest best practices in the computing world, Ned Scott's 21st century handler combines development with content provision. The platform is very open to expansion from programmers across the globe and has shown open evidence of compensating developers for relevant jobs done.

The icing on the cake is the cryptocurrency it flaunts. Its exchange market is a busy hive with traders showing confidence in its trade and such trade deals increasing in number by the day. Surely, cryptocurrency is the clear path ahead to a safer financial future and the amazing thing is: the Steem blockchain has been rated amongst the world's bests already.

There is no better place to blog at the moment than a simple, lightweight platform that rewards your every blog in accordance with its own successful valuation and protects your intellectual property right as well. There is no better place to code than with a selection of well-motivated, diverse programmers across the globe. The platform is fun, its concept is motivating and its setup and design is intruiging.

Steemit is out to redefine blogging and social media. I doubt if there is any reason why the platform should not make it up the ladder to a permanent number one spot anytime soon.
