Welcome to Codeblock Monday with @gregjava!
Today, we will be trying more easy ways to format web or HTML blogs and posts. These codes are applicable to your Steemit blog posts as well. In subsequent series, we will be trying even more codes.
All codes in this series have tags and multiple tags can be used on words, phrases, text blocks and sections, with a view to mix the effects of the tags on the section in which the multiple codes are applied. Tags are embedded in angular brackets like < b> OR < br/>
If you missed any earlier edition or want to be acquainted with more useful codes, scroll down to Archives and select your desired post.
Now, let's code...

| Displays a strikethrough across the enclosing text, describing that the text is no longer correct. | "texts" |

| Lowers the baseline of the enclosing text in its line, describing that the text is a subscript | "texts" |
| Displays enclosing text in open and closed double quotation marks, describing that the text is a short quotation. | "texts" |
| Displays enclosing text in italics, describing that the text is an emphasized text. | "texts" |
