It's a family tradition of ours to go blackberry picking every September.
There's something really satisfying about foraging in the countryside for fresh, organic produce and it's free! We picks a few pounds worth and freeze them to make delicious apple and blackberry crumbles through the cold winter months ahead - mmm!
The hedgerows are rich with different fruits and berries at this time of year.
However, the weather has been very threatening these last few days although nothing like those poor soles suffering from hurricanes Harvey and Irma!
At least we didn't have to worry about the traffic...
All photos taken with an iPhone 6S plus. Thanks for reading my wonderful steemian friends.
