Hello fellow Steemians! It's my pleasure to be joining this fine community and I want to introduce myself. I'm not great at tech, so I'm just hoping to catch on!
I am about to hit thirty years old and I haven't given much thought yet to how I feel about that. I am a woman and am happily married to my wife, W. We have both lived in Nebraska for our entire lives so far, and although we discuss the possibility of moving elsewhere, it's hard to imagine leaving the lives we've created here. We adore our two furbabies, our dogs Bentley and Piper.
I feel at home in the midwest but enjoy traveling all over. By nature I am passionate and loyal. I delight in rock climbing and reading, and feel that any time I have for either is not enough. Coffee (something I always have time for) keeps me grounded in a way I can't fully explain. I am on a constant quest to make myself healthier inside and out. I am serious about recycling, the environment in general, and feminism. I can be a total cynic at times, but deep down I'm still overwhelmingly optimistic that people are good.
We were in our local coffee shop less than a week ago when we met someone who told us about Steemit. I'd never even heard of it before, but was intrigued. I've spent the past few days perusing the site and checking out this community, and I've realized it's something I want to be a part of. I'm excited to be joining you!
