Earlier this year I visited Laitse town in Estonia of which I made a post not so long ago. There is also an abandoned building that was once used as a radio station. The building itself was built in 1949 and has been abandoned since 1998 since Estonia at the time didn't have money to spare to keep this radio station up and running.
The place is not closed or fenced off or anything, you can just walk right in and that's what we did.
The path leading to the building is pretty nice, those trees almost look like someone is caring for them.

We walked straight in from the main door on the first floor, not much there besides some crap and old couch. Of course, I didn't have any expectations to really find anything inside. If the place is easily accessible then it's looted clean from everything of value and what isn't of value is smashed.

The second room upstairs was also spacious with some dangerous small holes in the floor that are not visible in the photo but these were big enough for your foot so got to watch our steps.
What I did find there was a piano, of course, smashed up good. I would love to know the story of it. Is it there since the radio station times and if so then why is it left behind?
Peeking outside from the door, I wonder if this ledge was meant for walking. Either way, there are no railings, and have to be careful to not fall down.
This building had two sides connected by a hallway with glass walls. Of course, most of the glass has been smashed. It would be quite weird if it wasn't.

About 100m from the building I found a small mound with a thick concrete platform on it. What was it used for or is there something buried inside the mound and covered with concrete? That remains a mystery.
It was cool to explore this one but if I didn't know that it was a radio station once I wouldn't know it after the visit too because there were no clues to really indicate what it once was.
