This post is a follow-up to the one I made 11 days ago. You can find the last post here. On the same walk on the coast, our mission was to reach to this very small island. The name is Nabe island and is located near Lohusalu in northern Estonia.
You can only access this island if the sea level is low enough. fortunately, it is for the most part but if the sea level rises about 30 or 40cm above zero then the patch of land is cut off and you have about 100 meters of water between the mainland and the island.
The Name island itself really is very small. The coastline length is 550 meters and what makes it interesting, is that the island is like a hill. It has steep sides and in the center, it's about 5m above sea level.
Archeologists think that the island has been used as an ancient refuge for people. Don't ask, I don't know why this island should act as a refuge.
There is also a small abandoned brick building on the island, I have no idea why it was used for. I don't find any information about it.

Some more seascape shots I took there on the island. The coast is mainly rocky around this area but it looks gorgeous.
Would have loved to stay there until the sun went down but we still had about 45 min walk ahead of us to get back to the car. I preferred to walk it went we still had daylight because I don't know the route.
It was cool to explore this area.
