These are one of those pictures that were taken quite a while ago but I forgot about it. Last year In February we had a sunny day. If you have been following me long enough then you know how much I miss the sunny days during the winter here. I'm pretty sure that the sun was in the forecast for western Estonia but not where I live, in Northern Estonia. So I decided to drive to the west.
I drove to the city called Haapsalu but I wanted somewhere nice to walk and photograph in nature. So I drove to the top of the peninsula where I think I had never been before.
To be honest, all of these pictures are really bad. I just took photos for the sake of it, probably because I missed the shutter button 馃槄. When my main purpose was just to enjoy some sunshine. Pretty sure that I had not seen a ray of sun for several weeks before that.
I usually try to avoid mid-day sunshine for photographing because this is not a lighting that looks nice but I wanted to drive back to northern Estonia while it was still relatively bright, so I had no choice.
After walking around at the top of the peninsula for a while, I went inside the city limits and walked around the bay, on a local promenade that looks really nice actually.
I saw some ice skaters on the ice. It also looks like there is some kind of a track on the ice. Pretty sure it was used for ice skating.
So I drove 100km or 1 and a half hours to western Estonia to walk around for an hour, and then I drove 100km back to where I live. Well spent time haha馃槄. At least I got to enjoy some much-needed sunshine.
