It was beautiful outside today, clear sky and temperature was quite warm as well, 6,5 degrees celsius. I went for a walk on the field that this in the area of my home. Brought a camera with me to get some photos along the way.
Snow is melting fast and in many places, it's already gone. This combined with warm temperatures and sunshine does bring a feeling of the spring. It really is not spring yet, the start of march can also be a full winter still.
Found a wooden structure built on the field. I don't really know what's the purpose of this one. Maybe some kids built a shack for themselves.
On the field there was no snow at all, in the forest is another view, deep snow.
I wanted to get out of the forest into the civilization again but this part of the landscape was flooded with meltwater which was covered with a pretty thin ice sheet, I tried to find a way to cross but it was hard.
Many places I tried to walk, I immediately heard the ice cracking and I prefer to not fall through, water can be up to knee-deep in some places.
Finally, I managed to find a way over the water field while almost falling through the ice. If I was not to be able to cross this area then I would have needed to make a long circle to make it on the other side.
