In this world, offences will come. The presence of offences does not justify a grudge against the offender. It's difficult for the natural man to overcome grudging, thus the Holy Spirit is capable of helping us in every situation. Brethren, grudges attracts judgment from God. This is why it's a dangerous thing to be caught in. When we grudge against people, we push away God's mercy and when we love we activate His mercy and love towards us. God is not partial to show mercy to the merciless. Be merciful no matter the gravity of the offences. The grace to do so is sufficient.
Let love prevail. Let us forgive even those that feel they are right in offending us. Most times the apology might never come no matter how long we wait. Thus, the longer we wait, the longer we put ourselves in the danger of being judged. At this point we conclude that forgiving people is for our own benefit, not theirs. Be wise and let go what you can't change.
