As part of their schoolwork, my children have to write a short essay about something that is going on. My daughter wrote about how excited she is about spring coming.
Throw the winter "swetor" off and jump for joy, it's spring time! Butterflies and sparkles! Happy smiles and short sleeves! The sun is shining and winter is over!
"It is not winter anymore. The first day of spring is next week. But I don't care. It has felt like spring! Yesterday was 70 degrees! Everything is growing. You know it's always so wonderful when spring comes!"
What a beautiful mind. My children are becoming proficient not only at drawing and art, but also video editing and animating.
It's so fun as a parent to watch these new people develop and create what didn't exist before.
I'm grateful for spring, but I'm even more grateful for the JOY of my daughter for spring.
