As they won't employ someone who has an irrelevant composed Resume. So to write a very good Resume, certain things must be put into consideration and some guidelines must be used in the setup.

Here, am giving 9 steps in writing a Good Resume/Curriculum Vitae. They are :
1.Make sure that a potential employer knows whose resume they’re looking at: Many may find this statement strange and you will find it startled but don't be. Many will be asking why it's necessary since the employer already has the CV. If you are an employer, You won't want to feel embarrassed by holding the wrong CV. Will you?. So, the first thing you must do after meeting with your employer or exchange of greetings during interview or checking your CV is telling your employer your name. Make sure they know they have your the right Resume (i.e your CV) in their hands. This leads to number 2. The real deal.
*2. Personal Info:- Now, that your CV is in your employer hands for checking, the first thing he goes through his your personal data. Include your personal information at the top, full name, phone number, email and personal branding website. So, write first your personal info, begin with your full name, followed by your phone number and your email address. Personal website is not mandatory but maybe included.
3. Employment Goals: Next is write about your employment goals and your objective in having a job at the company you are applying to in respect to your specialty (this should be brief).i.e. an objective statement- a quick outline of your employment goals with the company you’re applying to. You won't want to employ an employee that you would train doesn't plan on staying at your company long.
3. Work Experience :- After completing the above step, next is writing about your experience and training you have gone through. Write a summary of your skills and experience, just a couple of sentences. Also this should be brief in amount of words.
5. Work history:- If you have any recent work experience, most recent first. List your relevant work history, put them in the CV. Which means, you include the names of employers and the duration of your employment including the names of the Company(employer), and the time spent, you may as well include skills you learn also.
6. Skills section Here, you will write the skills you have in accordance with the job you applied for. That is where you relate your skills to the job you're applying for including skills like; tech, language, computer, customer service skills as relevant.
7. Education You put about your education life. Starting from primary education, Highschool, College and University. No need to include grades unless they are Exceptional(on request).
8. Reference:- There's no need to list your references, you can simply write "References available upon request."
9. Improve you CV by adding Recommendations:- Get a friend(s) who knows you well to review and make suggestions for improvement. Or find an influential person(s) to help with review and recommendations.
