I studied Quantity Surveying in University of Lagos and proceeded to work for a consultant Quantity Surveying for a few years after graduation.
I resigned a couple of years ago to start my own business. I first started out as a fashion Designer. It was very challenging due to unreliable workers and doing it alone took a toll on my health.
It led to going to my first love which is baking. I absolutely enjoyed baking and decorating. I baked for many clients for years but i was forced to quit when the prices of Cake ingredients trippled which reduced the demand. It could no longer sustain me, hence i had to look for another means of Income.
I saw a growing demand for quality affordable household items and plastic wares. And i knew i could meet the need. I aslo wanted the freedom to build something of my own, where i could directly make impact while creating a sustainable business.
I got to know about hive and #spendhbd through

A few answer to my question convinced me to not just have a listed business but also join the moving train, invest and engage to add value to the community and to myself.
Yes, I am a busy person but when it comes to anything that can improve my life financially, I don't joke with it.
