Hello everyone!
How are you all doing? This is my first post here. I will not call myself a writer because i don't have specific a style of writing. I just write whatever comes into my head. I feel i will fit into this community and i hope my writing is worthy of this community.
Did you know that rat can die of loneliness and starvation?
We lost our one week flat mate today . (A disturbing and distructive intruder known as Mouse).
My niece and grandma wondered what could have caused it because we didn't set any trap to get rid of it. I told them the rat was tragically and extremely lonely and depressed!
Let explain !
It found it way into our apartment about a week ago. Fortunately, for it, we were too busy to play or get rid of it.
it was just all over the place. Nibbling papers, nylon bags and it ran across my nieces feet and the poor girl almost brought the house down screaming and used a drum of detergent to wash her feet. I had to hide the soap ( in this economy).
All i did ,was seal the hole it came in through. All food items were well stored and covered. I ensured that there was no drop of crumbs on the floor nor paper to nibble.( I made sure it starved).
It could not leave nor interact with other rats.
At a point, it was roaming the living room whenever we were watching Tv( it was probably seeking for a play mate..lol)
Eventually, it finally went back to his maker. I hope it would not cross path with us if he had another chance to come back to the world again.
