Brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, this afternoon I want to share how I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior and how we can be saved. Previously I introduced myself, my name Lisbeth, age 41, I am from Indonesia, married and have two daughters. I work in one of the government agencies. I gave my life to God at the age of 20, in a retreat service held by my seniors on campus. Although I come from a Christian family and diligently church but I do not understand the word of God and how I can be saved.I was evangelized by my aunt, she was a servant of God, at that time I was 17 years old. But I still hardened my heart and did not want to trust completely to God. But somehow, at the time of the retreat, I cried, realized my sins, and I opened my heart to Jesus and I accepted Him as my Lord and Savior.Since that event, I have felt joy. I began diligently to follow fellowship and discipleship. I continue to grow in the Word of God. Despite the many challenges I face, such as parents' prohibitions, are mocked, but I have remained to this day. I am really grateful to God, because He chose me, not out of my kindness or ability. But as He says in John 15:16
John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
To this day I remain faithful to serve the Lord, for I believe that He chose me not by chance, but because He has a wonderful plan in my life, He wants to use my life to be His instrument to glorify His name. I am very proud to have a God like Him who is so amazing. Every day I always feel His presence.Brother, if today you have not surrendered your life truly to God, come to Jesus, He is the only God who can save us and restore our lives. We can not do anything unless we are in Him. Our life will be nothing if not in God

As in the illustration above, we are sinful, God is holy. Our efforts and deeds can not save us. The only way is Jesus Christ. He leads us to our heavenly Father.
We must be reborn from the Spirit of God. We must open our hearts to Him as He says in Revelation 3:20
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
God never forces us, so He knocks on the door of our hearts, if we hear His voice, then open the door of our hearts. Next let us admit and we believe Him, that He is God.
Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
We must confess Jesus is God and He was raised from the dead and we believe in our hearts then we are saved.He guarantees our salvation, our only part is believing in Him.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
