- After reading my friend
@evev, I was curious about the letter that she herself prepared for herself. She seemed curious to me and it turned out to be an invitation from
@galenkp which I went to visit immediately, in her original post.
I found her proposal very interesting. So I join for the first time to participate.
The moment in which I pushed the limits of my comfort zone was one of the most delicate of my life. The circumstances, it was a decision as a couple that we made due to the economic crisis of 2017 in which we were forced to abandon everything. Selling our own house, leaving our jobs in companies, for which we had fought so hard. And start a new life from scratch, where everything looked better. The proposal they made us was very good. Go to the countryside and try our luck with my ex-husband's family.
The results were terrible, nothing more terrifying than wanting to be someone else than we really are. I tried my best to do all the things a country woman does, but nothing ever measured up. I lived many humiliations, and finally gave up on that life.
I got the saddest result of my entire life as a couple, knowing that I was out of place and nothing in line with their expectations, besides losing my house. In the end we decided to drop everything again, because we got lost in the meantime trying to get ahead on the field. His family did not support us at all, the reasons; They just wanted me to leave and let him meet another woman of the same customs, religion, city and family known in the area.
In a way they managed it, just like he finally without saying goodbye to his family, he came back with us until everything was stable, hoping to return to his field in the end of his family. It's been 4 long years. And economic stability is yet to be found.
- I left my comfort zone for reasons valuable to me, which changed after living the experience. Let it not be said that I did not do my best.
Stepping outside, you also learn. What I am totally sure of is that I have found my true essence. Feeling, knowing and seeing myself as a woman who has taken the helm of her life, to give stability to her children, makes me feel like a valuable woman, who will never disguise herself as another to want to please and fit in.
Grateful for the space to express myself.
