After taking in the panoramic views from the lookout it was time to head back down. The track was steep, rocky in parts and very uneven for most of the descent. Stopped to get some fungi photographs, had one last look at the surrounding landscape from elevation and then headed to our vehicle in order to continue on to our next destination. This impromptu stop was well worth the diversion.
