A long time ago I learnt that no matter what situation it is, the truth is the best.
I lost a friend because of this. His girlfriend then was cheating on him and he was madly in love with her, I knew about it and didn't tell him. I thought that keeping the truth to mlyself was the right thing to do. I hinted at it though,but he found out later and when he asked him why I didn't tell him the truth, I told him that I didn't want to be the reason before their breakup.
There's a line that's very painful to hear when you don't say the truth in the and someone finds out and is " why didn't you say the truth in the first place".
We've all heard that line at least once and trust me when you do, you'll seriously ask yourself why didn't you.
He stopped talking to me and I've not seen him for a while. And all this because I didn't tell him the truth. I told my other friends about it and they blamed me for not telling him and I regret it too
So I've chosen to say the truth always and although it's a hard task it's definitely worth it.
