Yes I have, I gambled online two years ago placing my bets on just football clubs and I must say that it was an experience.
Gambling has little or no benefit personally because it's a little bit psychological. Its psychological because once in a while you'll see an update of someone who earned big through gambling and this will stimulate your subconscious mind to think that you might just be the next big winner. At times you can make little profit from gambling form time to time but if you look closely you'll find out that the profit you make might be equal to your loss or more but you'll be so caught up in your subconscious mind thinking that you'll be the next big hit that you loose track of how much you've lost.
Gambling favours only the corporate and by corporate I mean those who own gambling platform. This is because their gain daily supercedes their loss. I mean it's obvious you can have 10 gamblers and no winner for like a month. Occasionally, someone wins big and this is what makes people to gamble only for them to end up loosing.
My advice to anyone who's interested in gambling is to open a gambling platform instead of gambling.
