No, not really. I used to be afraid of the dark when I was a kid. Then I was naive and I thought that monsters lurk in the dark. Although bad things happen mostlyb n the dark, as a kid I thought I'd see a monster from the horror movie I watched the previous day.
Now I'm grown and I'm not afraid of the dark anymore, but I'll admit there are time when I'll be home alone and I hear a noise and so may thoughts will go through my head but in the end when I check it out it's either a rat or cockroach that's responsible for the noise.
I kinda like darkness these days, I tend to reminisce, think or meditate in the dark. It might sound wierd to you but it's where I find solace.
