Hi Foodies!
Hope everyone is doing well.
Few days ago, I went out to Grande Prairie, Alberta for shopping with friends. After half away shopping we got hungry and went for lunch at Tayo, a Vietnamese Restaurant.
Our two other friends was already waiting for us at the restaurant by 1pm that day. They were actually working but was having a lunch break. As they were so hungry waiting for us, they already got a plate of Com Rang Durong Chau/special fried rice when we arrived there.
This special fried rice with pork, sausage, shrimps, pea, carrot, scallion, blacpepper and cillandro was so Yummy!!
I really can't move on from its taste, I felt like I was back in Asia, Singapore...This kind of fried rice I had it a long time ago when I was in Singapore.
As every portions are quite big, we ordered for share. And we finally ordered another plate of this special fried rice.
After those fried rice, we ordered the soups. But as it takes longer to cook the soup, we try their deep fried Calamary.
Doesn't it looks like onion rings??
Don't get it wrong! they used big size of calamary. It was perfectly good too.
And...Here are our soups!
Pho Dac Biet and Pho Bo Vien
Pho Bo Vien means Beef Balls Rice Noodles in English.
While Pho Dac Biet means Special Beef Rice Noodle soup with slice beef, brisket, tendon, tripe, and beef ball.
Oh my God! I can eat those soups everyday! I don't normally like the soups other than Indonesian Bakso, but this Pho Bo Vien really becoming my favorite soup now.
Other than the food, this restaurant is so nice with its decorations.
Simple and unique, don't you think?
Makes me wanted to stay there forever, Lol.
The restaurant is pretty neat and clean.
Just like any other Vietnamese Restaurant, they have bunches different meal to order.
Likely, they have about 121 different kind of meal.
not including the drinks menu.
A lot to choose eh...
Our bill came out to $83.22 CAD for 6 of us.
I guess is pretty avarage.
The foods was all tasty and delicious.
And the service was super excellent!!
The place? oh...pretty neat and clean for sure.
It's really worth it! whoever lives around the town, You should try!!!
