Uh...It's been few days that I didn't post anything on steem.
Gezz...It's getting colder here!
So, since it was quite nice and warm outside (8 degress) I went out and finally got some pictures to share.
KISKATINAW BRIDGE
According to what I read, Kiskatinaw bridge is one of the longest curved wooden suspension bridge in North America and it was build during the constructions of Alaska Highway.
This bridge is located about 30 km North of Dawson Creek, on Highway 97, Kiskatinaw Provincial Park, British Columbia.
There's room to pull over from the access roads near the bridge that you can have a close look from the top.
And, on the south side walk under it, there's a beautiful campground you can spend time on summer.
The Bridge still strongly standing now, Today...I went there with friends to have a look and at the same time take some pictures of it.
We call this "Old Highway" now, as is used to be the part of the original Highway project, then by pass in 1978. Reportedly because it couldn't safely support such as heavy loads oil and gas trucks which carrying more than 25 tons, and they had to drive across the river instead.
So this is the place that it still looks so green on this Autumn seasons, because most of those tree are evergreen tree, so they will stay green no matter the what are the weather.
