Does anyone ever had the same experience on how difficult to get photo shots with kids?

Over a month ago, I had a family photograph. And it was so difficult to get the perfect pictures with the kids, I鈥檓 so disappointed with the results.
Our 2 kids was just running around, never focused.
Yet, when we just simply take the pictures while they鈥檙e doing the stuffs, sometimes we could get the perfect shots.
I鈥檓 not giving up, Lol.
Still gonna try to take another family picture this falls or maybe on winter.
