Hoy les traigo una publicación que creo que puede ser interesante para varios #hivers. Resulta que desde hace más de un año ya, no lograba darle utilidad alguna a los puntos de #ecency, intenté varias veces utilizar la función Boost, pero parece que no tuve suerte, o no supe escoger los post. La realidad es que mis puntos ecency se acumulaban sin utilidad alguna. Pero no se bien porqué decidí seguir utilizando ecency y acumulando puntos que no parecían tener mucha utilidad.

La buena Noticia

Resulta que ayer #ecency lanzó una actualización de su aplicación movil a la cual le incluyó una nueva función llamada #Boost+, que vino a resolver todo el exceso de puntos ociosos en los balances.

¿Qué hace?

Para mí esta es la mejor parte, esta nueva función de #ecency te permite convertir tus puntos de ecency en una delegación de 201.418 HP a tu cuenta.

¿Cómo funciona?

Pues muy sencillo, en la aplicación #ecency para móviles.

Esto es importante:
hasta el momento la función solo está disponible para móviles.

En la aplicación te aparecerá en la esquina superior derecha de la pantalla un ícono con forma de fuego. En esa sección tendrás la oportunidad de comprar delegaciones. En la sección de arriba las comprarás con puntos de ecency. Aparentemente en la sección de abajo se puede comprar con fondos de otro tipo, pero en este post nos concentraremos en la función basada en puntos ecency.

Como pueden ver en la imagen hasta el momento hay tres opciones delegación por 7 días que vale 1500 puntos ecency, delegación por 30 días que vale 6000 puntos ecency y delegación por noventa días, que no se exactamente cuanto vale porque mis puntos acumulados no alcanzaban para pagarla, les pedo decir que cuesta más de 10000 puntos.

No se puede escoger monto de la delegación, es fijo y las ofertas consisten en el tiempo durante el cual vas a disfrutar esa delegación.

Mi experiencia

Yo solicité la delegación ayer en la noche, el proceso es rápido, sencillo y eficiente. Asegúrate de que tienes los puntos necesarios para solicitar la delegación, te vas a la opción que te mencioné en la app, solicitas la oferta que mejor te ajuste, firmas la transacción y listo, a mi me llegó la delegación en menos de 1 minuto.

Mis criterios

Yo creo que es una opción de alto valor y calidad y que habría que felicitar al equipo de ecency por esta adición. Mis razones son dos fundamentalmente.

1. La delegación de 200 HP aunque para los hivers de más experiencia y peso puede no representar mucho, para los nuevos integrantes de la red tiene el potencial de marcar la diferencia. Les permite involucrarse con la red y da la oportunidad de ganar recompensas. así que creo que es una buena adición para el onboarding en Hive.

2. Agrega utilidad a la red en general y a la aplicación de ecency en particular, lo cierto es que la funcionalidad del sistema de recompensas de ecency era muy baja, incluso conozco usuarios que dejaron de utilizar ecency por esta causa y esta nueva adición viene a rescatar una función que tiene mucho potencial.

También creo que el costo de las delegaciones debería bajar en el futuro, porque ahora mismo hay muchos puntos disponibles, pero en la disponibilidad de puntos deberá disminuir reativamente rápido. Así que yo espero que el costo de las delegaciones también baje.

I requested the delegation yesterday evening, the process is quick, easy, and efficient. Make sure you have the necessary points to request the delegation, go to the option I mentioned in the app, request the offer that suits you best, sign the transaction, and voilà, I received the delegation in less than 1 minute.

My criteria

I believe it is a high-value and quality option, and the ecency team should be congratulated for this addition. My reasons are primarily two.

1. The 200 HP delegation, although for more experienced and heavy hivers may not mean much, for new network members, it has the potential to make a difference. It allows them to get involved with the network and gives the opportunity to earn rewards. So, I think it is a good addition for onboarding on Hive.

2. It adds utility to the network in general and to the ecency application. The truth is that the utility of the ecency rewards system had very low functionality, I even know users who stopped using ecency for this reason, and this new addition comes to rescue a function that has a lot of potential.

I also beleive that the cost of the delegations should get lower in the future, cuz right know there are a lot of point around, but in the near future the supply will decrease rather fast. So I hope in response, the cost for delegations decrease too.
