A few days ago I decided to start mining and i installed nicehash quickminer because it's easy to setup everything and other apps didn't work for me. I wanted to install trex miner but because of the complexity i changed my mind as i only have one rtx 3060 lhr gpu. Currently I'm getting 33mh hashrate from my gpu which is a good result for lhr variant . My profit ranges between 0.90-1.10 usd after paying electricity. I'm planning to mine with my gpu till it's profitable and after that I will just turn it off to use it for only gaming. Day by day crypto prices are going down which affects my profits a lot. Therefore I think it's a worst time to get in gpu mining.
