In my opinion you can't have freedom without being responsible for your actions.
Therefore, freedom comes along with suffering consequence of your actions and learning.
If we agree privacy is one aspect essential to freedom, we must chose the behaviors that are the more difficult choice to make.
Laziness is freedom leaving your body.
