Encouraging words are like water that refreshes and help a plant to grow and produce better. It help one grow and do better.

I appreciate criticism and I also appreciate praise when and where necessary. But in a situation where I always get criticized by you and you just praise me in your head, don’t expect me to listen and apply that criticism.

I feel our parent did the best they know how to while bringing us up, that’s why we never get complimented and praised for our good part. Sometimes they don’t even express how much they love us….. yes they show they love us but they don’t say it to us. I am trying to do better with my kids. I would praise where necessary I wouldn’t hold it back and I will correct when necessary too.

Feelings are ment to be expressed. Don’t let your kids feel more valued and appreciated by others. they might grow up and become rebellious.

Tell them you love them, tell them how good they are it helps them to listen better when being corrected.
