Some Nollywood movies make you laugh, while others leave you with a lesson. Shege for 2 manages to do both brilliantly.

The movie follows Temi, a heavily pregnant woman struggling through the physical and emotional demands of pregnancy while her husband constantly dismisses her experience. Convinced that pregnancy isn't as difficult as women make it seem, he boldly claims he could handle it better. Then, in a bizarre twist, he wakes up pregnant.

From that moment, the movie become so funny and entertaining. Watching him battle cravings, mood swings, discomfort, and emotional breakdowns made me laugh so much. At some point I was wishing men should just be able to carry pregnancy for a while, maybe during the third trimester.

The comedy is exaggerated, but it effectively highlights how easy it is to judge struggles we've never experienced.

One thing I appreciated was that the movie didn't portray either gender as having the harder life. As Temi ( the actress ) steps into her husband's responsibilities while he experiences pregnancy, both characters gain a deeper understanding of each other's challenges.

The movie reminded me that empathy grows when we stop assuming and start understanding.

Some of the cast where so good at performing their roles. The confused doctor, the hilarious native doctor with his impossible demands and the pastor who somehow turned a spiritual crisis into a political discussion all made the movie so unique and entertaining.

Aside the laughter, the movie passed two meaningful which is respect and partnership.

It was a reminder that love isn't about competing over suffers more but about recognising and approaching each others effort.

I really enjoyed the movie. It was creative and entertaining. I would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a good laugh with life important lessons.
