just imagine they change your trusted dance partner right before the event even started.
I have an event to attend tomorrow and I also have a part to play. I was informed two months ago that ahead of time.
Since I had a role I and my partner had been practicing this role for a long time now and we are already set to deliver l.
Yesterday was the rehearsal and I and my partner was present. We haven’t even show what we have prepared before the chairman coordinating the event canceled my partner. According to his reason she doesn’t fit in to the role.
And we have to change her immediately. All attempt to help him reason was futile, in his words he said we have to play strictly by the script.
Now I got a new partner but it’s a whole lot of work on my part because I have to put her in the character and help practice with her.
I am so disappointed and anxious, I don’t know if we can deliver well. On my own part I am fully prepared but this new partner just got her script yesterday evening and the event is tomorrow.
How do I cope with this new change?
I can’t even quit…
Can some rules be bend and not break just for some understand reasons?
