App crash on clicking menu option

Expected behavior

I expect that when I click on the statistics menu option, some information based on my actions within the app as well as changes on my body metrics from initial use of the app is displayed.

Actual behavior

In contrast to the expected behavior, clicking on the statistics option throws in an error page with two buttons namely; Error details and restart app buttons.
When the restart app button is clicked, it waits for a second and returns to the same error page. On clicking the error details, it displays a log of errors.

Manually restarting this app produces similar results.
The only possible solution to this I have found is to carry out an uninstall and a reinstall. But doing this will cause loss of all user data thus making it(the app) unusable.

How to reproduce

Open the open scale android app and click on the menu. Click on the statistics menu option and you should see the error.
