Directors can not pay employees and development costs in the Ethereum. They will need to transfer the money back to fiat to make the payments.
Once they begin to liquidate, the other companies will be equally motivated to sell their stocks to get as much fiat money as possible. While startups are motivated to keep the price on the waterline, they have to keep up with the fall of the market.
You should not buy at today's price, If you bought below the today's price keep the ETH. However, the risks are high compared to the growth potential in the immediate period.
If you just heard from mainstream publications about Ethereum, you shouldn't investment. Usually, when cryptocurrencies reach mainstream, it's already the last wave of growth and the decrease is coming.
If you want to make some extra profit, you have to take some risks.
