that attack has to be very rare. The consequences for getting in trouble by the police in Singapore are very extreme, borderline brutal. For the most part fear keeps the population in line. There's a bunch of documentaries about the prison sentences that people get for minor drug related offenses and when I see the sentences it just blows my mind.
