that's wonderful. I recall a dog that we knew that would know the sound of my dad's car. I never got to experience that before. I did like it when Nadi turned into a puppy for a little while after she

my dog certainly doesn't seem to. If anything I think she is more excited when I come back from going to the corner store than she is after I have been out all day. Perhaps she gets too tired on the long

By Virginia do you mean UVA? That's a tough school to get into. or so I thought.

I recall paying quite a lot for lemons when I was younger but the place I lived at that time had a winter. In these places that don't really have a real winter I guess these things just grow like mad year

i just read that lemon trees are more resilient than lime trees for anywhere that ever gets cold. lime trees will die, lemon can withstand it better. Lemon trees are also significantly larger. I think

a one in a pot would be cute. probably pretty small

I would imagine a certain climate and temperature is very necessary. I guess here is the right climate because even though it can be dry for long stretches of time it does rain quite heavily for a lot

Or maybe just deport him for real. While some say this is a slippery slope, I think that some visitors or expats get away with too much without getting punished. There was a guy in Da Nang that livestreamed

The Count is a funny one. I managed to finish it but you know how they say that the book is so much better than the on-screen adaptation? I think the opposite is true with that Count of Monte Cristo series

Basically everyone here prefers the cartels to the government. I suspect they are kept in check by virtue of their being a lot of them. IF just one cartel ruled the roost I think they would be a lot less

That is their job. I'm happy that I don't have to pay much attention to that where I have chosen to live in the world.

what if everyone just assumed that USA is super dangerous and filled with people with machine guns on the streets based on films? I think Mexico got a bad rap because while I am sure there are peaceful

it was my impression as well but if you look at it from the movie-makers point of view, a peaceful and "normal" society isn't really interesting for a film or TV series. If you get a chance I

I think that traveling most of the world is safe, as long as you don't do stupid things.

well I can only speak from an expat or visitor point of view. As is the case with anything, regional differences are going to exist and the experience could be very different from the perspective of someone

Good grief. This must have been a very niche publication back in '79 lol. I recall some computer mags I had in the 90's and those probably seem similarly low-tech compared to today... nothing like the

I missed her the moment I dropped her off at her babysitter
