The Count is a funny one. I managed to finish it but you know how they say that the book is so much better than the on-screen adaptation? I think the opposite is true with that Count of Monte Cristo series that came out in the past year. That was fantastic whereas the book was kind of a slog at times.

Also, I knew a girl in college with a deep southern drawl that everyone found endearing although it did make her sound a bit dumb and she said "the Count of Money Crisco" when referring to the book... and she wasn't playing dumb either.
