I tend to lose it, especially if a project starts to take a lot longer than expected ( I actually spoke about this in the recent talk with / podcast episode with
@selfhelp4trolls ). This especially happens during post production.
I understand this, I love writing, but if it's a long story, even with Sarah's help, the editing process can be painful, but it's one of those things that has to be done, because my first drafts have so many mistakes and usually they're twice the size that they should be and if I don't edit it, every time I look at them I feel regret, thinking: "That could have been so much better."
Another thing, is sometimes when I'm writing and the words don't just flow and it feels more like work, I have found that the story never turns out to be good, it's like I'm forcing something that I probably shouldn't.
It could be that the subject matter isn't that interesting or maybe it's just too painful to write about, so now, whenever I now I tend to put those stories on the back burner for a time when I'm ready and I immediately start writing something that's enjoyable.
