"Cosmic Pollination" 2022
Visual description
A pictorial work of abstract and naïve style, dominated by an explosion of vibrant colors: turquoise, magenta pink, pure white and deep black. In the center, three large white structures shaped like a stylized flower or butterfly can be distinguished, joined by thick branches or black lines that seem to vibrate.
Here I use the pointillism technique in a very particular way, filling the surface with small circles of colors (blue, red, orange) that give texture to the work. Organic shapes stand out, such as a heart in the upper right part, and oval silhouettes filled with dots, which seem to float in a dreamlike environment. The background is a collage of stains, splashes and fine lines that create a feeling of controlled chaos and energy in motion. In the lower right corner you can see a handwritten signature of the author.
Synopsis (Artistic interpretation)
This work invites the viewer to get lost in a fantasy universe where the organic and the geometric merge. The central figures, which suggest winged insects or flowers, become the driving force of a visual dance. The use of points is not only an aesthetic resource, but a metaphor for connection: each point seems to be a drop of life or a microorganism that joins the others to build the whole.
It is a piece that radiates joy, freshness and movement, transporting us to a world where nature is celebrated through bright colors and repetitive patterns. The combination of thick strokes and watercolor stains creates a duality between the firm and the ethereal, reflecting the complexity of life itself in a state of pure visual celebration.
