Looking for a way to spend some surplus money watch thsi.
The Royal Dutch Mint just published the new Lion dolars 2022 which are official restrikes of the coins issued in the 1700's .
In 2022 it is the coin issued by NOVIOMA. or in full Noviomagus the Latin name of the Dutch city Nijmegen.
The packaging and he low mintage makes the coin very expensive. This year the packaging is done by a known ladies handbag maker in the Netherlands.
The price is equal to last year:
199 EUR for 1 ounce silver
299 EUR for 2 ounce silver (piedfort)
2999 EUR for 1 oucne gold
5499 EUR for the piedfort gold (2OZ)
I did buy the 2021 silver piedfort but tis time I pass. As you know I am selling silver as a bigger plan to buy a home in Spain so it makes no sense to add more silver and gold.
