The ring that lost its diamond some weeks ago is back where it belongs. Around my finger!
Earlier I posted that due to hitting a fruitfly wih a flat hand most likely the diamong casing was broken and the diamond was lying on the kitchenfloor for a day or two.

I also weighed it to see how much the pure value of the gold is and that is a bit disppointing. It weighs 4 gramm so 4*1/31,10 *1800 times 18/24 = 173 EURO
1/31,1 = to convert gramm to Troy ounce
1800 is value of 1 troy ounce of pure gold
18/24 or 75% to factor in the ring is 18 karat (marked 750)
The repair cost was higher! ;)
