Did anyone else play D&D?

Thats “Dungeons and Dragons” for those not up on the nerdiest lingo possible. See, I was a nerd before it was cool to be a nerd. Back when it was embarrassing, I used to play D&D with my friends and we would use various sided dice:

Me and my nerdy friends would gather on the weekend and go on adventure campaigns in our nerdy little world, swashbuckling adventures through mysterious lands fraught with danger and ferocious monsters.
It’s kind of like my weekends now, substitute fighting orcs and dragons with going to Target and watching Netflix
One of the primary objective in D&D is to find GOLD. It’s something ive been searching for my whole life in one way or another and childhood games were just another iteration.
To determine the outcome of anything and D&D you roll dice. However many sides the dice has is the “D” number. A 20 sided dice is a D 20. A six sided dice is a D 6:
I don’t think in my wildest dreams as a young teen I could imagine something so cool as a 24 karat gold D 6, much less that I would ever own a pair.
It’s kind of funny in that life is just another version of a D&D game and you quest for riches and glory through your daily grind.
The adventures may not be as dramatic and the road not as thrilling, but the rewards are just as rich achieved through hard work and persistent determination.
If you are like me and have cherished memories of playing D&D with your friends, you may just love these 24 karat gold D6 sold by gram weight from Mene:
