The less a writer discusses his work—and himself—the better. The master chef slaughters no chickens in the dining room; the doctor writes prescriptions in Latin; the magician hides his hinges, mirrors, and trapdoors with the utmost care.(Jack Vance)

sincerely,
Goldman Morgan,
the vaultkeeper of Tyrnannoght

the manual

:

v0.2 : the @goldmanmorgan manual

  • i got me some cloudflare and put alleycat back up : the site can now be reached by https at either
  • for questions : if you have an active account (listed in the posts), leave one word "help" in reply and it should ring bells on creation of the next post (that should be max 24 hours), but better (discord will be discontinued for being too heavy for what its needed for me), instead in case of questions : https://t.me/tyrnannoght (that's Telegram - lightweight, easy, available on all platforms - not that anyone does, but it's there ... should be 24 hours at best as well, just to keep a safe margin)
  • auto-withdraw is after today set at 3D 6B , gradually up to 5D(iamonds) , which will be more than overkill for the starterzone but gives option to sell or trade some to other potential players internally , (until live , balancing and all that will have to be seen, assuming there's actual players haha, still ... don't wait up for it, its far from there)
  • phew, stuck in testmode, i gotta do it sometime, it ran last time but lots has changed on the back so , ... after about two hours of picking out differences (as i keep mostly the 0-day of kernel, apache, sql , php and about everything else on the offline localhost it doesnt always .. you know, PLUS i run bare apache /var/www/html ... which on a vps is euhm, well .. PLUS cors requests dont always behave PLUS , well , lots ... but it works :) the only thing i dont get is why it losed https between the base url and the game page so it needs to be addressed via

https://tyrnannoght.000webhostapp.com/tyrnannoght/tyrnannoght.php

literally for now until i figure out where it losed that 's' bit ... its just limbo and no playergeneration, and only tested on firefox so far but the thing for me is i need to know the code works, PLUS respose time, which seems more than adequate even on that free vps, i still need to run through until the banker but if the first few maps work the rest should (should is not an IT-word however ...) I could use a dedicated server, or some combell hosting really, but that depends on the benevolence of the whale (in my case that means, paid for with MY money, not "owing someone" who sponsored it, i can't do that, sorry, not anymore) As to the dominators and competers ... i dont care about spotlight or glory but im fairly good at what i do, seeing as if i havent coded a line for years until some months (or a year if you count ubasti) i think its slowly coming back and im not sure anyone had, b/c i havent seen anything that uses a combo of jquery phaser and php for or like that (but im a weirdow after all - schroedingers cats nests live outside all boxes at once) ... so i'm not a danger to your domination, i just want my share ... and i put a LOT of ...fff- copulating effort into it tvym ...

  • gud, if you want (anyone who actually reads, use the url provided and log in with name : gmtester , psw : peek , you can't break anything, its just limbo which is like the standard intro level all games need, but also the place you return to when you die (you CAN die - its not a casual game) and when you run out of lives your character is gone, if you didnt get your hands on extra lives (which wont be for sale but can be traded between players for internal coin or whatever you want to agree outside with 0 liability for me if its external ... or so goes the plan) So if you wanna not get in my way , i can deliver a product that's attractive, and will run VERY smooth on a decent server, which in the end gives you more steem to dump for dollars and probably leaves the rest of us as dry as alway ... gud night sirs and madams :))
