Spamming?

I want to be clear here. I do not post anything to the steemit community with the intent of spamming. I recently received a comment suggesting I could have "action" taken against my account for spamming. Lets say I wanted to film a daily journey of how my steemit account grows, is that spamming? Or if I show how to grow a facebook account, is that spamming? I'm sincerely confused because all I have done is write/film about a part of my day and publically shown it. What I write or film is for your information only. Maybe it's because I put my referral link at the end? I'm not sure, I'm not here to spam. I'm here to share my experiences. I'm new, I've been taken advantage of already by one's who are spamming and don't care. I, on the other hand, do care about this community, my account and your opinion. If I can not write the truth or real life experiances in real time, then how is this any different then a centralized platform? I do understand that WE do not want endless articles saying "Join me!" I get it. I would like to simply report my daily journey. Is it spamming if I don't list my referral link? As far as facepuke goes, I'm doing the samething. Filming a daily journey for all to see. I have no idea if this BitConnect program is a scam but eventually you and I will find out because of the time, money and effort I am investing. Thank you.
