I am not familiar with Faust, never read it. Maybe I should. I don't know, if there is a version in easy German, though.

Wow, Are you German and haven't read Goethe's Faust?
East Asian scholars regard Goethe's Faust as the origin of German Romantic literature in the 19th century.😯

For Tolkiens part: It ended badly for Sauron. So you may be on the wrong end when you wish too much to become a secret collector - LOL
I would not want to see all your secrets, for if I knew them all, I maybe would not be surprised by you any longer and your predictability would cause me to turn away. Since I am not a greedy collector of secrets and since it's impossible for me to know them all, I think we are fine. HaHa!

As I read The Hobbit, I discovered the difference between Gollum and Bilbo.
Gollum used the power of the Absolute Ring to reveal other people's secrets and was banished by his people.
However, Bilbo used the power of the Absolute Ring to save the lives of himself and his friends.

The crucial difference is that Gollum used the ring for his evil desires, but Bilbo used the ring to save the lives of himself and his friends!

I believe that the power of the Absolute Ring comes from its ability to hide its own secrets and grasp the secrets of others.
However, if the owner of the Absolute Ring uses that power for his evil desires, he will be ruined like Gollum.
Unlike Gollum, the reason Bilbo does not become a slave to the Ring and receives eternal life is because he sacrificed himself for others.

Jesus said that those who give their lives for friends are the most blessed!

For nothing in the world I would like to have almighty power - too much stress to control everything and not being able to satisfy all parties. All the fun would be gone - and people complaining all over the places that I reign wrongly, while my flatterers never tell me the truth and tell me, I am "all amazing". Of course, in order to avoid the cacophonies I could just kill them all, when I am in a bad mood.

Perhaps Gollum and Bilbo are smarter than you!
They discovered the secrets of others, but instead chose total seclusion and solitude to keep their secrets.
So, I think Tolkien, who created the Absolute Ring, was a real genius!
Because Tolkien foresaw that humans with godlike abilities would choose absolute solitude and seclusion to avoid ruin! 😆

If you think it through, thoroughly, what happens if you are almighty and immortal?

Almighty and immortal life would be too tedious and boring. So, I think Jesus chose to die on the cross.

What would happen after all your wishes came true, when you can make everyone fulfilling them by your force?

I am not interested in other people's wishes. I now want to understand the 4D thinking of my German friend erh.germany@erh.germany.😄

I was shocked at the wonder of the existence of Germans who did not read Goethe's Faust!😲
