I tried to see if the explorer would tell me how many items but there are 26 categories and I'd have to open each one. So I went to properties to see how big the file was and I did get the number of photos: 98,681 for 145 GB. That's photos from 1999 to date I've taken plus loads of scanned in family photos going back to 1860, yup, 1860. My sister's the family genealogist and she scanned in all the family photos.

I have them all backed up on an external hard drive.
