The only outside lights I put up were on the big spruce. But that and all the others came down in 2019 when construction started. So now I just have the candles in each window, a wreath on the side of the house and the kissing ball on the shepherd’s crook at the end of the garden fence.

I found a treasure trove of the C9 bulbs and strings at a tag sale one year. I put them on the little spruce, but my husband didn’t care for them. I also found the smaller C7 bulbs and tried those, but again, he just liked the mini lights.

Maybe some day I will try them again…
