My Kind of Rest Day

This spot has been our favorite to visit lately even if it will be sunny or rainy, I still drive on my way to this very peaceful environment. I'd been here three times this week every time I and my partner were done with our own respective works or sometimes early in the morning to where we can brighten our first start of the day.

I could still remember how this place was used to be silent before and suddenly during the quarantine, it became popular because it was really a good place where people can do exercise, hiking, biking and many to mention. But those mentioned activities were stopped since it's becoming crowded and there were young teens who are not supposed to be roaming unless their ages are above 18 years old as part of the rules.

At first, I was glad that the place was discovered but there were some people who became irresponsible to the place, and of that is throwing garbages unresponsively. During the pandemic, there were many tourist spots that were shut down and I think it was the perfect time to let the nature rest and heals and this spot deserves too.

Coming to this place is not difficult at all because the roads were great and no hassle. You can really enjoy watching the cotton clouds, blue sky, and long grasses on each side of the road. It is amazing if you will ride or drive on a motorbike, aside from it can lead you faster but I find it way more comfortable because if you can see some good spots then you can easily park it then go on for another unexpected one just like what I had experienced today, I passed through those goats and saw three abandoned cats.

I felt great as well because my partner was able to let herself take a photo with me because usually, she doesn't like because she rather enjoys the view and feels the greenery environment. Even though the place is not a perfect spot to capture sunset or sunrise but I love seeing the sea view from the mountain. Another fun thing we saw there is "Lantay" or a sofa seat made of woods. This is a resting place for those who wanted to covered by the heat of the sun because in the other areas there are big trees which can shade us.

People most likely to drop in here to take a rest for a while, take photos as well. Before I will forget, on your way here from Baranggay Labangon, there are many options for you to choose which hotel you want to stay in. Yes! Mostly foreigners and Filipinos were having their own resorts from the mountain and sea view. So, if you plan to come to a mountainous then this is a good place for you to rest in.
