I鈥檓 back again, writing a journal about my life experiences. Life has been really hard for me lately. I鈥檝e also returned to the photography industry鈥擨鈥檝e set up a small home photo studio to get started. For experimental purposes, I didn鈥檛 invest in a super expensive setup; I鈥檓 just using a basic standard lighting setup. Instead of strobes or flashes, I purchased continuous lights since this kind of lighting is easier to use.
I really enjoy photography as a hobby, but turning it into a business or a source of income is a completely different story. Fortunately, since I offer the most affordable rates in town, I鈥檝e been getting regular bookings every week. As always, I love black and white photography鈥攊t holds a special place in my heart. However, I know I also need to learn studio photography. The learning curve has been manageable, especially since I鈥檓 using continuous lighting.

As I mentioned before, I recently purchased a Canon R8 with a 35mm f/1.8 lens as a starter kit for my business. I don鈥檛 need expensive gear right now, but I know that one day, I鈥檒l be able to afford it too.
Photography helps me appreciate every moment of my life and avoid unnecessary drama. Life is quite challenging for me right now, full of ups and downs, but I need to keep moving forward鈥攆or the sake of my kids and our future.
It鈥檚 been a long time since my last journal entry. Sometimes I go back and read what I鈥檝e written here, and it feels so fulfilling to see how much I鈥檝e grown and the challenges I鈥檝e overcome.
