Good morning dear Friends in the Black And White Community, a good and successful start to another week this year ππΈ
For today, I have prepared photos of this antique that is located next to the railway station in my city and is a very attractive sight. It is an old steam locomotive β a monument to the industrial and railway history of my city, Sisak. It was probably produced between the 1920s and 1940s (the exact type depends on the marking on the plate). Today it has a memorial role, as a reminder of the period when my city was a strong industrial and railway center. In this role, this beautiful old building functions even more clearly as a monument to the railway tradition of my city, which was an important transport hub long before the industrial expansion of Caprago and the ironworks. The proximity of the station also has a symbolic meaning: the steam locomotive "guards" the entrance to the city and recalls the period when the railway was crucial for its development.
So, let's go see together, but First
