Is it true that zeros (0) were first discovered by Islamic scientis?

No i do not think so...some months ago i read it on a particular website on the internet that zeros(0)were first majorly invented by the "babylonians"but was majorly put into proper use in india......

well it was known that the first concept of zero (0) actually first appeared in India around the A.D. 458.....at that time the mathematical equations were actually spelled out or actually spoken in poetry or some chants rather than the symbols. ..

So many Different words actually symbolized the zero,, such as "void," or "sky" or "space...."

In A.D 628, a particular Hindu astronomer and also a mathematician named " Brahmagupta" actually developed a symbol for zero — the symbol was a dot underneath numbers... He also actually developed some mathematical operations by using zeros,he also actually wrote many rules for actually reaching zero through an addition and a subtraction, and also the actual results of making use of zeros in equations...

That was actually the first time on earth that zero was actually recognized as a number of its own, which is also both an idea and a symbol too....
