We went to the ice skating rink at Tokyo Solamachi (Skytree). It was not for me, but for my elder son and his friends. They enjoyed skating 1,000 yen for an hour, we had lunch at the food court, wandered around the stores in Solamachi, and then split up.
Being Sunday, the skating rink, food court, and everywhere else was crowded. I don't like crowded places, it's because I feel like I'm in the way of traffic wherever I am and I don't feel comfortable. Plus, three 10 year old boys getting together is just too loud already! They would go to the food court and have second helpings as if they were school lunches (naturally, there would be a charge). By the time I left, I was so exhausted and had a headache...
Looking back on my own childhood, I don't remember my parents following me when I played with my friends after I entered elementary school. I think they are soon in the 5th grade, so I want them to play without without their parents," but it's a different time and place from my childhood. However, the mothers of the children I went with this time are some of my few mom friends, and it was fun to see them after a long time and talk with them about many things.
I got the impression that the stores at Solamachi have changed a lot since a few years ago, and there were many fashionable stores lined up. I hope to go back someday with lots of money.

東京ソラマチ（スカイツリー）のアイススケートリンクに行ってきました。滑るのは私ではなく、長男とそのお友達です。1,000円で一時間ほど滑った後、フードコートで昼ご飯を食べ、ソラマチ内のショップをぶらぶらして解散しました。
日曜日ということもあり、スケートリンクもフードコートも、どこも混んでいました。私は人の多いところがあまり好きではなく・・・どこにいても通行の邪魔になっている気がして落ち着かないんですよね。加えて、小4男児が3人も集まるともう騒がしくて・・・。フードコートでは、まるで給食のようにお代わりするし（当然、料金は掛かります）。帰る頃にはヘロヘロ、頭も痛くなってきて参りました。
自分の子ども時代を振り返ると、小学校入学以降、友達同士で遊ぶ時に親がついてきた記憶はありません。もうすぐ5年生だし、必要なお金を渡すから子どもたちだけで遊んでくれないかな、なんて思ったりするのですが、時代も場所も違うしなぁ。とはいえ、今回一緒に行った子たちのママたちは私の数少ないママ友で、久しぶりに会って色々と話せのは楽しかったです。来年度のPTA役員の仕事に関しても、参考になる情報をいくつか得ることができました。納得のいかない役員選出についても、愚痴を聞いてもらいました。
ソラマチのショップは数年前からだいぶ入れ替わっている印象で、おしゃれなお店がたくさん並んでいました。買い物は一人でしたい派なので、いつかまた一人で、お金をたくさん持って（笑）行きたいです。
