Society has Changed

Society has changed so much. Sometimes I wonder what happened. Where are we going? Who and what is the driving force? We are throwing away the values that made America great. The things that set us apart are being thrown away and discarded. For example, children used to be considered precious and blessings in our eyes. I know they are in God’s eyes. Now we murder the unborn children because they not a convenience in our lives. We make excuses that they are just a blob of flesh. Children the Bible says are a gift from God. They are made in His image. We make things up to justify what we do. We say it is for women’s rights, but neglect their rights. They are people too that will never grow up to be men and women. We say Black lives matter, but millions of black babies are murdered through abortion. Only one person comes out alive after an abortion, the other one was murdered and is dead. We see kids being abused, kids forces to be gay and transsexual. Kids are supposed to be innocent and taught the right way. Children should be nourished, cherished, valued, and appreciated. Where is this world leading to? Where are our American values? Where are our American morals? Our colleges used to train missionaries out to go around the world. Now I don’t know what they are raising? People are afraid to stand up anymore because of all the violent persecution. We are now seeing this every day in America. Law abiding citizens are being denied their rights for freedom of speech. America was built on freedom & liberty, not tyranny. I am declaring it is time to make a stand for righteousness. It is a time to speak out what God puts on your hearts. No time to be quiet or put your head in the sand. I often have people say that I am wasting my time. They say that I won’t make a difference or change them. I may never change some people, but by standing up I may encourage others to stand up with me. Sometimes it may be lonely, but I would rather be alone standing up for what is right then being led to slaughter by those who would try to destroy our country. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” Edmund Burke. Christ calls us to speak out in the great commission, not just to America, but the world. "Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[ the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28: 16-20. ESV. “And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:15-18 ESV.
