This poem is Inspired by a Nollywood movie I watched some days ago When Men promise.
He witnessed his beloved father being killed by his mother's lover;
This trauma never left him;
He grow up being over protective towards his wife that he nearly killed her;
It took him years to discover the dangers he had encured in his home;
Alas! He confirmed that true love is not forced; but rather it happens smoothly;
That true love is not chained but It allowed to flow freely;
And lastly that true love is not what you take but It is given.
